Aboriginal Cultural Training
Aboriginal people in Australia face a unique set of challenges and often have a unique set of needs. Our Aboriginal Cultural Training strives to give participants an increased understanding and awareness of Aboriginal issues in order to help businesses and individuals interact more efficiently and effectively with Indigenous Australians. Our training focuses on providing practical ways to help staff create culturally safe environments and build meaningful connections with Aboriginal people. The training aims to increase understanding of Aboriginal culture and attitudes in order to make it easier for staff to communicate effectively with Aboriginal people.
Our Aboriginal cultural training programs can now also be delivered remotely using a web-based delivery platform.
Learning outcomes
After completing one of our Aboriginal cultural training programs participants will be able to;•Understand how cultural preferences impact individual behaviours & expectations
- List common Indigenous cultural beliefs and explain their impact on interactions
- Identify strategies to improve service delivery and outcomes for Aboriginal people
- Engage effectively with Aboriginal people, organisations and communities
- Create culturally inclusive environments for staff and customers
